About Vine

The Vine Neighborhood Association works to keep the neighborhood vibrant and connected. As one of the oldest neighborhoods in the City of Kalamazoo, the Vine neighborhood has an abundant history.

The Vine Neighborhood offers downtown living along tree lined streets for short and long-term rental residents and committed urban pioneers who are reclaiming once neglected historic beauties as single-family homes. Vine is the perfect neighborhood for people who want to live near it all. Vine is a walking neighborhood due to its location between Western Michigan University and Downtown Kalamazoo. Western Michigan University offers NCAA Division IA intercollegiate athletic teams, entertainment, and cultural amenities second to none. Kalamazoo Central Business District is an easy walk, which boasts a 10 screen movie theater, 23 live performance stages, the Kalamazoo Valley Museum, the Kalamazoo Public Library, Kalamazoo Entertainment District, and many more attractions. Vine is a community within itself with its eclectic and edgy businesses. Vine pride itself on being a welcoming and diverse neighborhood.
